Gone for Good is a NAID® AAA-certified secure document destruction and e-waste recycling company. We were founded in 2006 by United Ability (formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham) to help businesses deal with sensitive documents, unmanageable paper files, and broken or outdated electronics. We specialize in both on-site and off-site product destruction, as well as kitting, assembling, and packaging. Our services keep customers in compliance with privacy laws and help protect them from devastating security breaches and potential lawsuits.
What sets us apart from our competitors is our workforce. Gone for Good provides meaningful employment for approximately 100 adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. For many of these individuals, employment provides not only a paycheck, but a sense of independence and purpose.
